Caribbean Cuisine in Cozy Settings
The Caribbean Housewife is an event restaurant where long tables and cozy arranged surroundings set the stage for a special dining experience.
This unique cuisine, found nowhere else in Denmark, is inspired by traditional recipes from tropical locations in the West Indian and South American regions, such as Cuba, the Dutch Antilles, Jamaica, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, but also the diaspora culture and food from Africa and Asia.
Jamain Brigitha, the founder and culinary powerhouse behind the restaurant, infuses her culinary heritage into each dish. Along with Roman-Sicilian sous chef Emilano Trebbi, she prepares eclectic culinary dining experiences that draw on all corners of the world and reflect the rich cultural history of the globe.
Taste and Quality
Everything on the menu is made from scratch with a special focus on plant-based dishes. From the tasty main courses to the delicate desserts, each plate is an experience that awakens the senses and invites social meals at the welcoming communal tables.
