A culinary journey between tradition and renewal 

At The Vietnamese Table, the roots of Vietnamese cuisine are celebrated. Here, chef and owner Duc Huy Do brings the recipes of his childhood to life - the dishes his mother cooked over sawdust and wood in the family’s small kitchen. 

The mission is clear: to preserve and revive recipes that would otherwise disappear, and give them new life through a modern interpretation. 

 

Between Vietnam and Europe 

Duc’s culinary journey has taken him through both Italy and Denmark, and his food reflects Vietnamese soul, European finesse, and a deep respect for ingredients. 

The dishes balance tradition and innovation with simplicity, purity, freshness and a modern expression, without losing their connection to their origins. 

 

Experienced and acknowledged

The Vietnamese Table is the newest chapter from Duc, who has already earned high praise in Copenhagen with his sister restaurant The Vietnamese. 

That restaurant has received, among other accolades: 4 stars in Berlingske and 4 stars in Jyllands-Posten. This experience and quality carry over into The Vietnamese Table, but with a new, more personal and heritage-driven concept.
