Influential sommelier behind wine & dining bar
The eminent and famed Spanish-Mexican sommelier, Felix Chamorro, has extensive knowledge of unique grape varieties and is, among other things, named by Forbes Magazine 2021 as one of the most influential wine specialists of all time.
With studies in Piedmont, owner of his own import company and former sommelier at Relæ, Terroiristen and Brace, Chamorro has been one of the front runners for natural and special wines in Copenhagen.
In collaboration with Leonardo Camboni, Roots was founded in 2020. Here passion is the cradle of the senses and support for the local winemaker with natural, sustainable values.
Italian osteria makes its mark on the menu
Roots offers their guests an exciting dining experience with a range of authentic Italian specialties from their sister restaurant, Rufino.
In close collaboration with the Italian osteria, the menu gets classic input from the Italian cuisine. Eat e.g. lasagna, traditional meat and snack dishes and the divine Italian dessert, tiramisu.

Roots specializes in sustainable wine imports from smaller wineries. As one of the country's leading suppliers to several Michelin restaurants here including Kadeau, Alouette and Amass, Roots provides an innovative bouquet and finesse on the wine list, which now also can be enjoyed by private individuals too.
