A gastronomic melting pot
DOLORES is the world citizen of Carlsberg Byen. The restaurant uses the entire world as its gastronomic playground, but follows one strict dogma: The ingredients must be fantastic.
Although the foundation is often found in Denmark, inspiration and unique products are borrowed from Spain, Italy, and beyond whenever they find something that deserves a place on the menu.
The inspiration is drawn from all corners of the world – not least from San Francisco’s Mission District, which also gave the restaurant its name.
Part of the LOCA Group
DOLORES is part of the LOCA Group, which also operates the critically acclaimed restaurants PAULA, KILDEN in Tivoli, Almanak in the Opera House, as well as Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant RADIO.
LOCA operates based on a dedicated sustainability charter. Their "LOCA Manifesto" guides both the business and its employees with a clear goal: Every meal must make a positive difference. This means you can enjoy fantastic food with a clear conscience, as consideration is given to both the environment and the people involved in creating the ingredients.
An evening where everything comes together
When you visit DOLORES, the ambition is always to create the perfect evening. Berlingske’s food critic, Søren Frank, previously visited the restaurant and called the experience "the perfect evening," which resulted in a "veritable mushroom rush."
The restaurant has also been awarded 2 forks by the Falstaff dining guide.
