Historic inn by the water
Just a stone's throw from Rungsted Harbor is an idyllic white inn with black half-timbering, barred windows and a thatched roof.
Over the centuries, Rungsted Kro has been an important stopping point for Copenhagen citizens traveling between Copenhagen and Helsingør. The inn has also functioned as a luxurious bathing hotel and has been a source of inspiration for famous writers such as Ludvig Holberg and Johannes Ewald.
Today, the inn is run by two tenants with a passion for the inn life. Experience a 400-year-old inn with a view of Øresund and a warm, cozy atmosphere. Here there is a tablecloth on the table, candles and neatly folded napkins.
