Harborfront dining and Danish gastronomy with 4 stars
From the lively waterfront of Christianshavn, a stunning panoramic view unfolds across Copenhagen’s iconic skyline, where the sun sets gently over the city. This is the setting for a brand-new restaurant.
“It's called NU&DA – and it’s brilliantly conceived,” writes the reviewer from Berlingske, who awarded 4 stars: “It’s brilliant to breathe new life into classics like tuna mousse and lemon pudding by reinterpreting them.”
Former Michelin-starred and TV chef
The kitchen is led by David Johansen, who became the youngest head chef in Danish history to earn a Michelin star. He has also appeared as a judge on MasterChef and other television productions.
With NU&DA, David Johansen returns to the kind of cuisine that once earned him a Michelin star - giving Danish classics a modern revival in light, clean, and contemporary dishes that still taste like the flavors we know and love.
Like an old friend in new clothes
The menu changes with the seasons and bridges past and present in Danish cuisine. NU&DA is a tribute to the Danish kitchen - to what it was, and what it can become.
The food is served unpretentiously, with gastronomic precision, and a focus on time and togetherness.
