The green koncept
Midori means 'green' in Japanese. And that is exactly what Midori - Izakaya and Greenery restaurant is. Here on Grønnegade the decor is minimalist, where light wooden tables are shrouded in wild plants and create small, green oases. The culinary dining menu complements the 'green' with several vegetarian dishes.
The experiences are reported
Out of almost 100 reviews on TripAdvisor, Midori is rated 4.5 out of 5 and gets praising words along the way:
"We got the eight course menu and sake tasting. A fantastic and tasty experience with new tastes, variety and really good introduction through the many dishes, so we could have the best possible experience. All in all a really great pleasure."
Japanese gastropub
Izakaya is Japan's answer to a cozy inn, gastropub, where locals gather and enjoy a few small, friendly dishes over a beer from larger or smaller breweries, a glass of wine or a Japanese sake.
Eat tapas similar dishes - small, varied servings of innovative ingredients are continually placed in front of you and stimulate your taste buds with sour, sweet, salty, bitter and of course; umami.
