ARoS Food Hall

Midtbyen

4 starred art on a plate in spectacular surroundings.

ARoS Art Museum offers art in all forms - also on your plate. On the 8th floor you can experience ARoS Food Hall. The food is organized as small gastronomic 'experiences' and focuses on local, organic ingredients and sustainability. ARoS Food Hall recieves 4 stars from both Jyllands-Posten and Århus Stiftstidende. The kitchen, represented by chef Bjørn Madsen, serves inviting dishes in the form of small experiences based on the idea of social dining. Here the kitchen use seasonal local and regional ingredients and products that ARoS themselves produce in the herb garden at the top of the museum. Here you can also keep your own bee hive with bees that deliver a heavy dark honey thanks to the many linden trees in Aarhus. The meat used at the restaurant originates from Troldgården, which is an organic family-run farm with focus on animal welfare. ARoS Food Hall offers artistic dining rooms, where the ingredients 'come out' of the walls and become part of the experience. The atmosphere is raw and warm at the same time. The herbs used in the kitchen, integrated into the decor, and the small lamps that hangs down from the ceiling like stars in the sky under the rainbow, creates this special atmosphere.
