Casual dining created over open flames with creativity

Why you should dine here:

  • Casual dining with open flames, smoke, and bold, clean flavors
  • Run by two passionate chefs with experience from Michelin-starred dining and Ruths Hotel
  • Mediterranean-inspired dishes – from handmade pasta to grilled fish and juicy cuts
  • Relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere in modern, inviting surroundings

Casual dining straight from the grill

"UKURANT" means not like the rest, and that’s precisely the point: forging their own path and embracing creativity, while being uncomplicated.

The food is crafted over open flames, charcoal, and wood-fired grills. Around 60–70% of the menu touches the grill, infusing the dishes with a deep, honest flavor. The philosophy is simple: few elements, distinct flavors, and top-tier ingredients.

Mediterranean vibe and down-to-earth craftsmanship

The kitchen draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, particularly France, Italy, and Spain. Behind the bar and the stove is the duo Jesper and Frederik, who complement each other seamlessly.

Jesper brings his experience from French Michelin cuisine into play, focusing on rich sauces and perfectly executed cuts, while Frederik masters whimsical handmade pasta, refined desserts, and grilled fish.

Room for everyone around the table

The wine list is handpicked from smaller South European producers, perfectly matching the rustic food.

The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, no matter the occasion, allowing you to gather for a great meal in thoughtfully designed, delightfully quirky, and cozy settings.
