Atze Peng is a cocktail bar with a unique personality: with concrete floors and walls, rustic furniture and an East German industrial lamp hanging over the bar, you immediately notice the Berlin vibe in the room. Slovenian-born Anže Pihler opened Atze Peng (German slang for 'good friend') in 2014, with the ambition to bring a piece of Berlin to Vesterbro - and he succeeded! The bar is built by Anže from scratch and encapsulates the essence of raw Berlin style. Atze Peng has an eye for details and is the only place in Copenhagen where the ice to cool your drinks is chopped, crushed or scratched from one large ice block placed in the bar. In short, Atze Peng offers everything - even if your favourite drink is not on the menu card, the bartender can conjure it up with a wide variety of alcohol and fresh ingredients in the bar.
