At Restaurant RADIO, it’s all about flavor and about following the rhythm of the seasons with deep respect for nature and the best Danish ingredients.
RADIO was opened in 2011 by Noma founder Claus Meyer, with the vision of making seasonal gastronomy more accessible to a wider audience. That vision lives on today in shared ownership between Claus Meyer and LOCA Gruppen, the team also behind acclaimed restaurants such as, Almanak in Operaen, and KILDEN in Tivoli.
Each month, the kitchen creates a new menu that reflects the changing seasons. Vegetables take center stage, complemented by sustainably caught fish, game from the forest, and an occasional touch of luxury like caviar or truffle, when it makes sense.
RADIO has been recommended by the Michelin Guide since 2015, and in 2025 and 2026, the restaurant has received Bib Gourmand status from the Michelin guide as well. This distinction is awarded to restaurants that offer high quality at a good price.
The Michelin Guide highlights RADIO’s unpretentious style and “flavourful dishes made with organic ingredients from the restaurant’s nearby fields – served in well-considered combinations.”
The menu is rooted in solid Nordic traditions with subtle international touches, resulting in gastronomic experiences that are both refined and approachable.
RADIO is located on the corner of Julius Thomsens Gade, overlooking the iconic former Radio House. Inside, the warm dining room features small tables, wood-panelled walls, and a semi-open kitchen that creates an inviting, relaxed setting.
A thoughtfully curated wine list with well-priced bottles – recognized by Star Wine List – and the restaurant’s Organic Silver Label complete the experience.
