Restaurant Hummer is located in the “quiet” end of the charming, maritime Nyhavn in the heart of Copenhagen. With a beautiful view over the inner harbor, the stage is set for a meal beyond the ordinary. 

Hummer’s philosophy is simple and without dogma – fish & shellfish of the highest quality, accompanied by excellent wines and a great atmosphere.

Berlingske’s food critic Søren Frank awards Hummer with 4 stars and praises it as “a rare theme restaurant with a different menu.” 

White Guide rates Hummer at “Very Fine Level” and commends it for: “Both the attentive and generous service as well as the location are absolutely top-notch – and Hummer is definitely worth a visit for both fish and shellfish lovers.” 

Experience and passion 

Behind Restaurant Hummer is the experienced team of Ronni Mikkelsen and Thomas Haldrup. Ronni Mikkelsen has previously been sous chef at Sletten and Nimb, while Thomas Haldrup has been sous chef at the Michelin-starred Kong Hans. 

Together, they also run the Michelin-recommended Restaurant Koefoed and Bistro Summér in Nyhavn, reflecting their shared passion for quality and exceptional culinary experiences.
